A little late, but special all the same

Tomorrow will be exactly 1-month since our daughter, Megan celebrated her 29th birthday! I'm finally getting around to posting some thoughts about this wonderful life changing moment in our lives. There is a song that we had sung at our wedding and a song that I sang at several weddings throughout the years entitled, "Turn Around", that says how one day she was a babe and now has her own.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTL-fwRsEdc

Tears of joy often flow from my heart and down my cheeks. I have always loved each stage of parenthood and now grand-parenting. We are blessed to have our adult children live within 15 minutes of us and we don't take that lightly.  We enjoy time together and are thankful for our close-knit family relationship.

Megan is not only a great mother/wife/daughter/sister/aunt/daughter-in-law/grand-daughter/friend, she is one of my best friends. We are now at a stage of not only mother/daughter, but friend/friend. What a gift!  What a treasure!

May this year be a year of great joy for you.  May you have a year of peace, great health, bounties of blessings and lots of laughter.  We love you-Megan!

Happy Birthday Sweetheart
