Almost August

Where as this summer gone???!!!!??? It has been a good one. We just returned from working a week at Camp Manatawny. It was a great week. We worked for our son, Matt, who was the director for 9-10 year olds. Intermediate I is part of the "Wilson" family in a sense. Jim directed this particular week for 16 years and we are now back working with our son! Check out the facebook video and see the excitement!!! Intermediate I

We celebrated our anniversary and a birthday or two this summer. Jim and I went on a tour of two of the Delaware lighthouses one Saturday which was a great time. We also spent a day enjoying the Conrad Weiser homestead, which is part of my family ancestry. We have enjoyed several day trips including to the beach, area events. I also am taking my first 7wk all on-line course this Block!! It's a Critical Thinking course and so far I'm enjoying it (as much as one can for saying they're back in school after 30+ years and taking a course in the summer)!! I will have a one week break between this course and the beginning of the Fall semester. My courses are all through Wilmington University

We did have some news...Jim and I are grandparents.....Below you will see our new "grandpup"! Here name is Morgan. She joins her "brother" Ben-the-cat and resides in Odessa with her Mommy and Daddy!! Morgan was at camp this summer and will be staying in Bear (with us) next week when Mommy and Daddy go away for the weekend.

Matt, our son, moved the beginning of July to a great condo on the 16th floor in Wilmington. He is in a great section of the city and has a terrific view of the city and surrounding area. In fact, we "borrowed" his condo on the 4th of July to watch fireworks and what an amazing display. We saw several towns fireworks around the area from his balcony. Matt has some exciting changes in his life.

Jim and I in a great place with our family and see God's hands in the decisions are our children as adults. We are very blessed.

I continue to work closely with the National Kidney Foundation. Our next annual walk is Oct. 4th. Look at the website, if you're in our area that weekend, we would LOVE for you to become a team member and walk with us. Jim's health has been doing okay. He fights the battle of fatigue as his main negative side-effect. We are thankful that he continues to maintain, for the most part, a normal daily routine. We see the specialist every 3-months to keep things as current as possible. Again another blessing living so close to the highly recommend Transplant Center here in Delaware.

Summer is almost over, but there is plenty of warm weather ahead and our schedules continue to be full of exciting activities. God has blessed us beyond measure. Enjoy some of these pictures of our summer this far!!!
