Simple and Normal

Not much to share, but thankful for this time of "normalcy". I'm back to using my blog as a dairy or sorts for sharing and encouragement.  My schedule is getting back to a routine, which isn't saying much because I don't have a set routine anymore with being "retired" from teaching.  I'm blessed with SOME and the emphasis on some flexibility throughout my week.

I am loving having my Mimi days throughout my weeks. Jackson has a great way of making all the routine events of a day extra-special.  I have been able to look at our great world through the eyes of our almost 16-month-old grandson.  He is pure joy indeed!!

It reminds me of the scripture where Jesus mentions that we must become like one of them (speaking of the children) to truly understand His Love: Matthew 19:12-15). The simplicity of Jesus is something that I am continually evolving in my personal walk.  Jesus had his plan while on earth and he continues to have his plan through the use of my hands/feet/heart. His message for us is an active message, not one of only corporate worship.  I like being able to serve as well as getting fed or served to through my time of large and small group gatherings.

I'm involved in two small group studies, one is about the ascent Psalms of the Bible, which leads to a greater experience in not only my corporate, but daily worship.  My other small group study is about creating, polishing, molding, stretching, even changing my way of spiritual leadership and how I lead in every aspect of my life.  My form of leadership is a form of spiritual one and that type of leadership is the best to cultivate in my professional, and personal life.  I'm blessed to attend these studies, as I was on a bit of a sabbatical while my "hat" of caretaker was the priority for several months.

We are experiencing some lovely weather since it has been officially winter.  I know that  we have several more weeks of winter, but every day like the days we are having this week (upper 60's), is one less day of ice, sleet, snow, freezer temps.

I am thankful for the place that I am in my life and I can see that God's Plan is working as I continue to learn more through his Word, as well as sometimes waiting, being still, and/or being active in Him!

LivingRlives as you continue to live yours!

Blessings and Prayers,
~Tina
