Winterwonderland

Those of you who know me, really know that I prefer being near water, warmer temps (not extreme humidity), and sunshine.  I even enjoy a warm rain to replenish the earth.  Last night and early this morning we had another snowstorm in our area. This particular snow was the type of snow that is scene on portraits of wintry settings.  The snow, when untouched, was beautiful and clean!  This type of snow is a visual reminder of how I'm cleansed and cleaned because of the sacrifice that Jesus made for me on the cross!
Below are some pictures that I took around our home.  As the day went on the untouched snow became "touched" and started turning quickly into snirt.  For those of you who are sure about the word snirt, it's a combination of snow and dirt!
The snow fall was beautiful, even though I prefer liquid sunshine in the form of spring and summer rains.  God continues to provide all our needs in our lives as well as in our planet!  If you are blessed to have changing seasons in the region you live, enjoy all of them, there is a beauty even in those seasons that aren't especially the seasons you prefer. (I look forward to posting spring and summer pictures in the next few months!) It's like our daily lives, some days are better than others, but all days that we're given are gifts from above!

"He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes." ~ Ps. 147:16
