RE: Prayering for Others

I just mentioned today in one of my small bible study groups that when I say that I will pray for you;  I really am praying for you!  Many times I pray scripture and these are some that I've recently come across and felt I would share today on my blog.  I love praying the scripture as much as praying from my heart! There are so many prayers in scripture. These are just a small taste of God's wondering comforting words. ~ Tina


1. I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail. (Luke 22:32)


2. I pray to God that you will not do anything wrong. (2Cor. 13:7)


3. I give thanks for you. (Eph 1:16)


4. I keep asking that…the glorious Father may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. (Eph 1:17, 18, 19)

5. I pray that he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. (Eph 3:16, 17)

6. I have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And I pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God. (Col 1:9-10)

7. May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else. (1Thes 3:10-13)

8. I constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling…I pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you. (2Thes 1:11,12)

9. Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. (3 John 2).

10. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Rom 15:13)
