He's a person!!!

Way back in April, I shared with you the special news that we were going to be 1st time grandparents. We also shared a 1st picture of our expected grandchild.  This past week,  I have the privilege to be at the 29th (or to be exact 28 week 6 day) ultrasound of our Grandson!!

God's handiwork is so prevalent in his creation.  Again, I am reminded of  Psalms 139:13-16: "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body.  All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

I witnessed first hand the work of His glory this past week when I again, was blown away by the details and the perfection and the growing process of such a miracle.  I saw his perfectly designed skeleton, and his perfectly portioned body and organs. He is also forming "his own characteristics", which is again such a remarkable sight to witness! Our 1st grandchild-our grandson is being "knitted together in our daughter's womb"!! At this particular visit he weighed 2lbs 15oz!  I am treasuring all these things and ponder them in my heart continually!  I will tell you all that I mentioned to our soon-to-be born grandson...the next time I see your precious face, I will be holding you and kissing you!!  It has been a blessing beyond words to be a part of this miracle of life.  Jim and I eagerly await the arrival of this perfect boy the end of October.  Our daughter and son-in-law are doing well and the pregnancy is going like "textbook", or "boring" as our daughter's one doctor stated.   "BORING IS VERY GOOD"! She has appointments now every 2wks rather than monthly.  Their due date is still 10.29.10 The icing on the cake this week was that Uncle Matt finally got to feel him kick; that too was a priceless moment.

Here are the pictures:  (The first one is his profile, the 2nd is a better look at his precious face and his fingers, and the 3rd picture is him playing "peek-a-boo" with his little arm and wrist/fingers over his face). They are worth more than any words I can keep babbling!!!

Praying for you and yours and I know that you are praying for me and mine!
