Out with the Old & In with the New

Below are some pictures of our Christmas morning! We had our traditional Christmas eve, but enjoying annual foods and participating in a local Christmas eve service. We have come to enjoy our traditions even though we don't remember when they became traditions to our family. For instance, we serve the homeless Thanksgiving morning (when we are in town), followed by a time of sharing our blessings and expressing our thanks for those blessings. We enjoy Christmas eve as I described above.

SO, I thought I would share some of the last moments of 2008 and offer you a prosperous New Year and by saying prosperous, I mean that you realize how fully blessed your life is!!! We, in Christ, are so rich.

May you see all the daily blessings that God provides for you and not view them as "luck", but give God praise for those blessings and happenings!!! Have a very Happy New Year. My prayer for you is the same for me and mine, that we all remember that God is in control and He will provide all our needs. May you continue to have hope in this new year and feel the presence of God in all aspects of your life.

Romans 15:13: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that, you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

Christmas 2008: Pictures: tree in the florida/sunroom, decor in the dining room, tree in the living room. Gifts of surprise for Matt, mom&dad/mam&pap, Megan&Lindsay, and Jim. I also received wonderful surprises, but someone has to be the "photographer". Another "gift" was the EAGLES making it to the playoffs...as die-hard fans, we'll take any win we can get.

Have a blessed 2009.
